Where in the world are we now?

Friends you found us, welcome to our travel blog. 
What do you do when your children fly? One minute we were tying their shoelaces, the next they are striding out the door, eyes fixed on the future and arms overflowing with dreams. We watched them go and waved and smiled, and hid our sadness behind bright words. The house empty, quiet but remarkably tidy. So what now? Big changes ahead. Go Big or go home. Right?… Yup 🙂

The last ten months have been surreal. We have sold our house and pretty much all of our furniture, donated  most of our clothes to charity and held garage sales to get rid of all of our bits and pieces. We have disconnected ourselves from electricity, gas, water, phone, insurance, and cable, companies and the BIG one retired from our jobs. Free now to follow our dreams and travel the world, full circle, with no time limit and no restrictions. 

We would be so happy for you to join us and would love any tips that you may have on the places we visit. We will miss you but hope through this blog we can keep each other updated and keep in touch. See you on the road  🙂
